Download Games for the Psp

Good day and welcome to my page! There is a huge amount of downloadable games for the psp, but getting them can be problematic. I’ve dedicated this hub page to a sometimes frustrating question of how to download games for the PSP, I will take a close look at some of the most popular methods of downloading these games.

A lot of people still believe that it’s possible to download free games for the psp. I’ve taken this route and must say that I was very disappointed. It took me a good 2 months of research into the different community forums, torrents and warez sites before I realized that if you want to download full games for the Psp you need to look elsewhere.

The main problem with those sites are:

1. Very often you get a demo version instead of the full release
2. Many of the ISO files do not work, they don’t bother transforming them into a standard version so you get stuck recoding their files (which sometimes is impossible)
3. If you take the “forum” path, be ready to fork over a lot of money for download portals like RapidShare or Megadownloads, otherwise you have to deal with extremely slow download speed (yes they cap it) and you can only do so make so many downloads before the “purchase page” comes up
4. Virus is always only a click away, I download games for the psp for an enjoyable experience, not for a bunch of Spyware or Trojans.
5. It’s ILLEGAL! There was a recent crackdown that landed a bunch of people in jail and trust me even though it was a minimum security prison you might still end up playing “don’t drop the soap” game instead of God of War2

Anyways, I guess you get the point. I personally believe that if you’re wondering how to download games for the psp and not worry about the factors mentioned above you should definitely consider services such as PSPblender or Allpspgames.com. PSPblender is a bit shady though, I didn’t like the fact that they overcharged my card and put me on some kind of a subscription service, they’re a bit too expensive for my taste too.

Allpspgames.com worked better for me, I’ve been using them for the past couple of months and am pretty happy with their service, it’s a one time payment that I made, but it’s an unlimited time membership (at least it was as of 2 months ago, you should check their web-site for details, I put the link on the bottom) and you get access to unlimited downloads of games, music, themes and wallpapers. Probably one of the biggest reasons why I use them is because they got support. Finally, there was a place which was able to help me get my PSP in order. Plus if ever there is any legal questions I will simply point fingers at Allpspgames.com

I can’t count the amount of money that I saved with downloading games, every time I get a download I compare how much it would cost me on Amazon and it always ranges from 25 to 35 USD plus shipping and handling for new releases or 19$ for used games which by the way do not always work.
